spring look for day!!

Oh spring is around the corner and that comes with a new look, or updated part of the house. It also means spring cleaning and a new lease on life for the year. A way to start off fresh with a new wardrobe with some of the great looks of the season.
I just love this lime peplum dress by Badgley Miscka and the little bag by Marc Jacobs, along with the embossed leather sandals by Prada. Makes a great outfit for a nice spring or even summer day. Get out of the greys and blacks and put on your flirty florals with vibrant accents.
I love it and can not wait to get back into those clothes!!

Summer Shoes

It's summer and it is hot outside! What a great time to sit at the pool, go to the beach, get a tan (if you have the time) or just wander about. It is a great time to wear an adorable pair of sandals, wedges, or bright colored plats. I love summer because you can wear so much and feel great. Wearing shorts or dresses with adorable shoes to show off that tan is amazing. Of course you can still wear jeans; I know a lot of people wear jeans even though it is 102 degrees outside. I am sometimes one of those people who wear jeans. But, I want to talk about shoes,mostly because I love shoes and need new ones, slowly but surely I am replacing my shoe closet. There are many cute sandals out now it is incredible!There are so many styles of sandals, there is a pair out there for pretty much anybody! Even if you are a flip-flop kind of person there are really cute and chic flips out there for you! And if you look just right for them you can find some great deals on shoes online for summer! Great thing about shopping online for shoes unlike pants, all you need to know really is your shoe size. Well, purse shopping online or cell phone case shopping online is easier than that. But, nevermind about that we are talking about shoes here!

shoe rack

Well, I will be getting a new closet soon. There's a lot of space to hang things and fold and store clothes and purses. But, what I am most excited for is the shoe rack. It's more of a shoe wall than a rack for shoes. Its a wall of cubby holes for shoes, pretty awesome right? Well yeah! What an awesome thing. Lots of space for all my shoes and for my husband's. But now I have to go through my closet again, and look at my shoes and see what I want to keep and what I want toss. Awesome time for a garage sale right? As long as it stops raining. I have to think about how after I get rid of some things what to replace it with. Have to go through and get my mind into the whole "you haven't worn those in over a year" mode. I am also thrilled that everything will be organized, so very organized. I am not talking organized chaos, serious organizing. But before all that I need to find things that I can fill the cubby holes. Nothing better than going out to replace things especially shoes, and even better when there are sales. Lately though, I have been going to different dept stores and while I love looking at some shoes, they never seem to have my size. Went to Target, saw a cute pair of shoes and none in my size. So, I shop mostly online for shoes, not a bad idea right? The only downside is waiting, guess I got to relearn patience.

Spring Cleaning

Have you ever had one of those days where you just look at your closet and aren't impressed with anything in it. Like all of the stuff in the closet you just want to toss out. Nothing seems to "jump" out at you and nothing seems like you any more. All you want to do is start over? I feel that way sometimes, it was just one of those days.

I looked in my closet and thought, OK, really I need new clothes. There are things in there I haven't worn in years. And even Oprah has said something like, if you haven't worn it in a year THROW IT OUT. Well, I want to and replace it with better wardrobe. I need something fresh for the season and new. I want to get rid of all the stuff that's outdated,faded and worn. Out with the old and in with the new. It will be fun to clean out the old clothes and organize it. Spring cleaning fever anyone?

When I watch shows like Real Housewives of Beverly Hills or NYC I think " I want a closet and wardrobe like that!" Wouldn't it be awesome to have a closet that was spacious with lots of organization and the clothes to go with it.Mmmmmm a whole wall devoted to shoes and purses.Now, I will say that Ikea has great shoe organizers.The shoe organizers just hang in the closets and I LOVE THEM.So,even if I cant get a new closet and a fresh new wardrobe, a few updated options would be just as good. Especially if they are on sale!
If nothing else maybe a new pair of shoes or handbag which hey I just cant get enough of. That and new cases for my Iphone. And besides got to fill those shoe holders can't leave them empty.
