What's in your wallet?

I talk a lot about handbags and stuff like that. But, I noticed I don't really talk about wallets. Wallets are just as important as the handbag. It is really a "duh" factor, at least when you think about it. Wallets are in the bag but they tend to carry the most important stuff. I am talking about money, license,and insurance cards.So, while the bag may be fabulous, why can't the wallet be too? The truth is it can be! 

Now, I am not saying that the wallet MUST match the bag, it doesn't have to. But I know many,many ladies that do that. My sister is one of them, as for me, I don't really match my wallet to my bag. I tend to pick very vibrant handbags and it is hard to match a wallet to the bag. For instance, I have a pink Coach and use a silver wallet. No big deal,right?

The LBD: "little black dress"

They say every lady should own one, and the designers may be right.  The lbd, can be the one item in a woman's closet that is a constant go to. The thought, "I have to be somewhere and no clue what to wear" comes to mind a lot. It is so simple,grab black dress, get shoes on, and depending where I am going what bag to bring.  It is a great piece that is forever stylish and never will go out of fashion. Once only a color worn by widows and funerals attendees, it is now a dress for any occasion. So get your Louboutins ready and your cocktails shaken, it is time for some little black dress fun!

I keep seeing all these cute little clutches, either in Target or at the mall, even online. Pinterest has many cute pins of clutches. There is nothing too blingy to be a great clutch right now! Clutches are no longer those boring rectangular pieces of fabric meant to hold things. I found some great clutches that can be worn day and night. Take a look!

Prabal Gurung for Target

Target, you just keep me smiling! I love the store already, I am always happy when I go there. Except a few times I'll be honest was less than exemplary. But other than that it has been great. Target has been my go to for years and will continue to be so.
Target has been stepping above the curve by getting top designers to make clothes and other items for their stores. Brilliant on their part! Jason Wu was a successful endeavor and while some of the Neiman Marcus was a bust, there was plenty of great items.  Target wants people to get top designer clothes for Target prices how awesome. Especially in this economy people want to get those items they may never get a chance to otherwise.
This time around Target got Prabal Gurung!! How exciting! I will definitely go and wait in line for this opportunity! Not only to chronicle the hysteria but to get stuff myself.  The line is going to be launched on February 10th. I can't wait to experience it, and hope I can get there early to at least find some great things.
Last time I missed alot and didn't get what I wanted. Bummer. This time will be different!

All I can say is I wonder who will be next!!

Resort wear: pool day

Let's be honest here, how many of you take your kids to the resort or on cruises? You wouldn't go to Disney without them,right? It is for the whole family. Here is an adorable collection for the mommy and the little one for some pool time.

 I have.  been thinking about what I am going to get after things settle down. When I can replace some of my clothes. I'm thinking a  cute shirt dresses for some great spring time fun. And they look comfortable, I am serious in saying I will NOT succumb to frumpty dumpty style. I could right now, but I wont. I still get dressed and do my hair(somewhat). I am trying to let my hair breath and not be tortured for a bit by my straightner.  I put together a great look that I can dream about wearing.

I am thinking about clothes I want to wear again after the baby comes. I think about what I want to wear that is new. I think about what hair and makeup, shoes, and dresses. I also can't wait to see the baby and what I will wear home. You know the pink dress in my baby shower post? Yea that's the dress. But, I just dream of a new wardrobe, new hair, new baby, new home, and new perspective on life. I just think about the what ifs and what I want. Fashion wise and everything in between.
I know your body changes so much after baby, I can't wait to see what I can get to fit my new curves.

I love this outfit! I love the colors and just how much fun it is. Who said you can't follow the season's hottest trends when you feel like a bowling ball carrier. No one! Well, except maybe a few people. People that try to bring down a preggers confidence down, by saying it is a waste of money. I am sorry, but I am over justifying why I bought the clothes for my pregnancy as I have. And I am certainly not alone. I try to understand why some ladies hatematernity clothes. "I will never wear those ugly maternity clothes, I will stay in my regular stuff until I have to". Meanwhile, I am looking down at myself going, um, what is wrong with this? Nothing but compliments on my end. Oh well, perhaps it is that ugly beast rearing its head of horrible clothes long since gone.
But, designers have heard the plea, the cry for help. For God's sake we want stuff that fits well and looks good! Let us not go backwards let's go forwards, who is with me?! After all you don't  want to have this again, do you??

spring look for day!!

Oh spring is around the corner and that comes with a new look, or updated part of the house. It also means spring cleaning and a new lease on life for the year. A way to start off fresh with a new wardrobe with some of the great looks of the season.
I just love this lime peplum dress by Badgley Miscka and the little bag by Marc Jacobs, along with the embossed leather sandals by Prada. Makes a great outfit for a nice spring or even summer day. Get out of the greys and blacks and put on your flirty florals with vibrant accents.
I love it and can not wait to get back into those clothes!!

Long over due.

Wow, the last time I posted here was in 2011, ever since I got my own blog weppage.  I have neglected this one. I still focus on fashion, but I have also changed my gears to helping others save money in general. I figure this blog will help the other and since both are the same blog, just different in platforms, what could be the harm?
A new bag same ol bag lady...
So, today I ordered my Oscar De La Renta bag, figured it would be a great piece for the spring. I need a new Coach bag, but I got a beautiful diaper bag from my hubby for Chrismas. But I need something for non baby time too.
Back to my original thought, I got a bag from the Target Neiman Marcus line today. At  first I was not sure about getting it, but decided to. I mean for $17 do you blame me? It was originally $59.99, released after Thanksgiving, this bag is better suited for the summer and spring than winter. Also, if you get it be aware it is not made of leather. The bag is made of canvas, if it had been leather can you imagine how much Target would have to price it for. OUCH.

Also I learned this morning if you see something on sale and you want to get it, get it!!!! The graco swing i wanted was regular priced again, craptastic. Oh well, we live and learn.
