How much do you spend on your nails? Do you get acrylics or just a manicure? It seems that more women are doing more on their nails than anything lately. I was listening to MPR the other day and they were talking about how more women are spending more on nail polish than on lipstick. Has nail polish replaced lipstick in this economy? Well, nail polish can be very cheap to expensive it does have a more lasting effect. Lipstick you have to reapply a lot, nail polish on average every 7-10days. Acrylic fill every 2 weeks or if you have slow growing nails 3 weeks. Nail polish is not just the red and pink everyone is used to. More women are going for bold and vibrant colors. Greens, neon pinks, orange, and yellow. It is fun to play with color and even black nail polish can be chic now. No longer reserved for Gothic girls and guys, even Hollywood stars are wearing it. I know women have been wearing polish all the time but, it is growing in trend to have fun and funky nails. Even lacey nails are in and unusual patterned nails, like camo. This nail trend is going into everything women are wearing.

This summer more women are going with bright colors and vibrant prints. I am not sure if it is a major thing or just summer fashion. There are plenty of fun and adorable things to wear, either on your nails, as a outfit, or on your feet. This summer is color and lots of it! I know people start to focus on the fall but, hey it is ok to still talk about summer fashion. It is still hot outside!

Dressing room blues

So today I thought it would be a good idea to go try some clothes on for spring/summer. I really wanted some white shorts for this cute top I have and wanted some wedge sandals too. Yes, I said white shorts. I was taking a leap of faith cause I know I will some how get them dirty and they wont look so white any more. I'll slip and fall in mud,get marinara sauce on them, you know.
I saw some great shorts and thought ok I'll try some on. I grabbed a couple pairs, 2 white shorts and some dark denim.I'm trying them on and one pair the shorts were WAAAAAY to short. One pair didnt fit although they were all the same size.One pair fit ok but after trying on the other two pairs my self esteem went way down the toilette. I looked at the mirror and realized 3 things. 1 the mirror was actually warped at the bottom and 2 I need to get my butt on a treadmill and 3 I need to get some sun, even if its fake.
I still want some cute shorts and I will find them. I'm also still trying to get my white pants to wear with a great tunic. I did find a great pair of strappy wedge sandals by Juicey Couture cant wait for those! I just need to find those great shorts to wear with them! So, I'm going to share some great deals with you and go hit up the gym.

I just cant have enough shoes. Shoes can make any outfit look and feel like a million dollars! Shoes should be comfortable whether they are sneakers or heels. Dress shoes or sandals, comfort is always good. Booties, boots, pumps, strappy sandals and wedges lots of styles and lots of fun.Who can resist a little shoe shopping!? I just love going and looking at the different styles in stores or online. I'm looking for a cute pair of strappy wedge sandals to wear with a nice pair of shorts or Capri's. I still want those Dior woven leather heels, so so pretty! But nothing is as so simple and basic as a flip-flop sandal. In my opinion its truly one of the get up and go footwear. When I'm in a hurry and can't figure what shoes to wear at all, the flip flop or gladiator sandal is the first thing I go to.
