I keep seeing all these cute little clutches, either in Target or at the mall, even online. Pinterest has many cute pins of clutches. There is nothing too blingy to be a great clutch right now! Pencil Skirt loves!

What is it about pencil skirts that I just love? Is it the stylish and glamorous look of it, where the skirt can take a regular shirt and turn it into a work of art? Is it the simplicity of the skirt? Or, perhaps it is the traditional feel of the look. When paired with the right shoes, jewelry, bag, and make up this piece of clothing can make you feel like a sophisticated lady, or a sexy fashionesta. Who said a skirt had to be above the knee to be considered sexy or “hot”? This skirt is not the skirt of yesteryear.

I love Burberry! Whenever I see their ads or would walk by a store carrying this line, I would just want to touch everything and look. Their coats and bags are always a classic hit, and yet while so high fashion, their clothing and accessories are so simple. I want this skirt!

These skirts are so simple and basic, it is no wonder why they are a staple in many women’s closets. Certainly was one of mine(just not right now). Professional women or the stay at home mom, I do believe these skirts will stick around for a long time, just with some modern updates here and there.

Who knew a babybook could feel like homework!

I got my son's baby book not long after he was shown to be a boy from the ultrasound. I got Carters babybook for boys at Target and was so excited about it! Until I got it home, I opened the book and started to flip through it. I saw the family trees, the how we met, and how mommy told daddy. What I didn't expect was how hard this was going to be. I saw my sister do baby books for her children it honestly can't be that hard,right? Uh buh, it is. This has been an on going project since 18 weeks. I am 33 weeks right now, this damn book sat still in plastic on my desk since week 20. What does that tell you? Tells me I started something and had no clue. Not a clue.
I started the family tree and the how we met, my husband and I , and my doctor's info. That dear friends is where I left it. I recently went back to this blue and green book of doom. Why not, I seriously have the time. I started to fill in the pages, one word answers and one sentence answers. I got to how mommy told daddy, that made me snicker. I remember vividly, but wrote the story like a third grader. Sorry son mommy had a childhood school relapse. I wonder if anyone else has had this issue, please tell me I am not alone. Please!
Moving on, I wrote how my first trimester was, second trimester, which honestly I didn't realize I was past, oops. Second trimester? Ummm 2 words heart burn. Third trimester has had more excitement, a hospital stay and a misbehaving little one. This book also asks for pics, and wow. Where were any pics, I didn't have any. Great. I feel like the first pregnancy failure, where most mamas are taking pics left and right, I haven't. Maternity pics? None, I am confined to a couch and feel just dandy(sarcasm). Joyous isn't it? Yeah, it is.
I hope this homework, I mean baby book, goes more smoothly if not I am doomed.  Seriously doomed, heaven help me.

Eyeliner dreams

With all this mascara talk got me thinking about eyeliners. Eyeliner is essential in making a look complete and eye look pop and wow.  Eyeliners can be bright and colorful or nuetral and basic. Eyeliners come in many different packages and styles. Eyeliners can be cremes,traditional pencils,liquid,gels,pens, and some powder to wet. You can use brushes or the way the liners come packaged.
Let's talk about liquid liner first. So versatile and this liner can give you those Cleopatra eyes with ease! It does take practice but once you get the hang of it, this can open a door of trendy possibilities.

Lancome artliner has to be one of my absolute favorite liquid liners. Goes on smooth and lasts.

Estee Lauder doublewear eyeliner, this liner is also a great liquid liner.

Chanel eqriture de chanel liquid eyeliner. This liner is like a pen and gives great control.

Wet n' wild liquid liner, ok not a bad liner but can get watery. Shake really well.

Cg lashblast 24hr liner, this liner is pretty good. Cg has come a long way .

E.L.F  this eyeliner it wonerful liner is great and comes in many shades!

Pencils and pens. Not for writing.

My fave pencil,this little glittery gem is so much fun. I love it.

Christian Dior Dior show waterproof liner is some great stuff, I have used my liner t I a nub. It is soft and goes on smooth.

Clinique khol liner is smooth and easy for smudging. Perfect!

Quickliner for eyes , great for quickness. But, these do have a shelf life too. They can dry up.

Almay liner is a great product goes on smooth and is great to have in your arsenal.

Wet n' wild eyeliner pencil. This is a staple for many tweens and teens. This was my first eyeliner too. Was affordable and accessible.
Gels! Cremes lets have fun!!!!

Maybelline lasting drama gel liner. This liner is smooth, but I would use an angle brush.

E.l.f liner this little pot of liner can be a great asset of the makeup case. Comes with an angle brush.

Elizabeth Arden gel  liner, this liner is pretty good I don't have many Arden products but this eyeliner is great!

There are many more than this, for instance Mac makes a great liner and so does clinique. .

Prabal Gurung for Target

Target, you just keep me smiling! I love the store already, I am always happy when I go there. Except a few times I'll be honest was less than exemplary. But other than that it has been great. Target has been my go to for years and will continue to be so.
Target has been stepping above the curve by getting top designers to make clothes and other items for their stores. Brilliant on their part! Jason Wu was a successful endeavor and while some of the Neiman Marcus was a bust, there was plenty of great items.  Target wants people to get top designer clothes for Target prices how awesome. Especially in this economy people want to get those items they may never get a chance to otherwise.
This time around Target got Prabal Gurung!! How exciting! I will definitely go and wait in line for this opportunity! Not only to chronicle the hysteria but to get stuff myself.  The line is going to be launched on February 10th. I can't wait to experience it, and hope I can get there early to at least find some great things.
Last time I missed alot and didn't get what I wanted. Bummer. This time will be different!

All I can say is I wonder who will be next!!

The perfect date night

I so desperately want to take my hubby to a restaurant he has never been too. Get dressed up and go have a great time. In fact I know which restaurant I would take him to. Fishbones, is an amazing restaurant with a fabulous menu. It is a bit on the pricey side but, worth a splurge. Try the macadamia crusted fish, you can't go wrong.  I even know what I would wear, or what I would LIKE to wear.

Yeah, that would be it. Ahhh, but this is something that will have to wait. Wait along with the restaurant and the wine I would want to consume there. (Future thinking) Date nights will become a luxury or a scarcity,babies tend to do that. The impending thought of it makes me want to go on a no baby date before the little ninja arrives. However, my issue right now may prohibit that notion. Gift card to Cheesecake Factory or not, we will be shackled to the house waiting. Until, the day comes where we can.
