Out the door,effortless fashion

image

Picture this, you’re tired and you need to go somewhere. But,you do not want to make too much effort in anything. This includes clothing. Well no fear effortless clothing options are here. I know that with life there are times where you know you should get dressed and be presentable. However, you are just in a state of poopiedom to care or put too much thought into it. So, here is the plan simple clothes, and accessories.
Take a look at the pic above. It looks great right? You betcha! But look how simple it is. A pair of leggings, a sweater, boots, and a bag. DONE. To borrow a page from how Chef Gordon Ramsey shows recipes; leggings on,sweater on, boots on, hair up, add lip gloss. The perfect low key outfit to go anywhere finished. BRILLIANT. There is a diaper bag in the picture this is to show this kind of outfit would work for anyone in a hurry. No real accessories to match up. Hell, throw your hair up in a tail or bun and add gloss, no one would know you just rolled off the couch.
You don’t have to have top designer either. This can be accomplished with any outfit with the basic principal behind it.
Let’s try another.

I love this a cute pair of jeans a white tank, shoes,a bright bag, OR, if you do not have time, mama’s, your diaper bag and look ready for out of the house time. And not even, quick if you have someone call and they are just around the corner on the way to visit. EEEKKK.
Ok so it is date night and you are running behind. You have on a sweater some leggings and just flip-flops on because that is what you were wearing earlier. Want to go from day to night?

Change the shoes, add a simple bracelet, lip gloss, and chic bag or clutch. This is simple and easy to do, hair can be wavy or straight.
Think about how effortless it is fashion shouldn’t be forced or a real effort. But I know sometimes it is an effort to do it.

Autumn Cashmere sweater $189
This sweater is also great for those bloated days too!

Autumn Cashmere $129

This sweater looks comfy,I could so lounge in this as well as wear elsewhere.

Bebe Rodeo Dr tank $49
A great white tank can be such a great investment in the clothing arsenol.

Fendi lace up boots $786.99
These boots are hot! This is a great boot by Fendi, this boot will look great even with a white pair of skinnies or jeans. I want!

Who knew a babybook could feel like homework!

I got my son's baby book not long after he was shown to be a boy from the ultrasound. I got Carters babybook for boys at Target and was so excited about it! Until I got it home, I opened the book and started to flip through it. I saw the family trees, the how we met, and how mommy told daddy. What I didn't expect was how hard this was going to be. I saw my sister do baby books for her children it honestly can't be that hard, right? Uh buh, it is. This has been an on going project since 18 weeks. I am 33 weeks right now, this damn book sat still in plastic on my desk since week 20. What does that tell you? Tells me I started something and had no clue. Not a clue.
I started the family tree and the how we met, my husband and I , and my doctor's info. That dear friends is where I left it. I recently went back to this blue and green book of doom. Why not, I seriously have the time. I started to fill in the pages, one word answers and one sentence answers. I got to how mommy told daddy, that made me snicker. I remember vividly, but wrote the story like a third grader. Sorry son mommy had a childhood school relapse. I wonder if anyone else has had this issue, please tell me I am not alone. Please!
Moving on, I wrote how my first trimester was, second trimester, which honestly I didn't realize I was past, oops. Second trimester? Ummm 2 words heart burn. Third trimester has had more excitement, a hospital stay and a misbehaving little one. This book also asks for pics, and wow. Where were any pics, I didn't have any. Great. I feel like the first pregnancy failure, where most mamas are taking pics left and right, I haven't. Maternity pics? None, I am confined to a couch and feel just dandy(sarcasm). Joyous isn't it? Yeah, it is.
I hope this homework, I mean baby book, goes more smoothly if not I am doomed.  Seriously doomed, heaven help me.

Fashion mama

I am thinking about clothes I want to wear again after the baby comes. I think about what I want to wear that is new. I think about what hair and makeup, shoes, and dresses. I also can't wait to see the baby and what I will wear home. You know the pink dress in my baby shower post? Yea that's the dress. But, I just dream of a new wardrobe, new hair, new baby, new home, and new perspective on life. I just think about the what ifs and what I want. Fashion wise and everything in between.
I know your body changes so much after baby, I can't wait to see what I can get to fit my new curves.

So fun to wear!

I love this outfit! I love the colors and just how much fun it is. Who said you can't follow the season's hottest trends when you feel like a bowling ball carrier. No one! Well, except maybe a few people. People that try to bring down a preggers confidence down, by saying it is a waste of money. I am sorry, but I am over justifying why I bought the clothes for my pregnancy as I have. And I am certainly not alone. I try to understand why some ladies hatematernity clothes. "I will never wear those ugly maternity clothes, I will stay in my regular stuff until I have to". Meanwhile, I am looking down at myself going, um, what is wrong with this? Nothing but compliments on my end. Oh well, perhaps it is that ugly beast rearing its head of horrible clothes long since gone.
But, designers have heard the plea, the cry for help. For God's sake we want stuff that fits well and looks good! Let us not go backwards let's go forwards, who is with me?! After all you don't  want to have this again, do you??
pIc from bellyitch the blog, did no one own a bra then?
