Lipgloss,lipgloss, and more lipgloss

Lipgloss, lipgloss, and more lipgloss. This little tube of perfection can make you feel glamorous and in a second.. It is practical and convenient. A tiny tube of makeup speed. Most women have at least one lipgloss in their purse and some(me) even more. This bit of make up can be subtle or bam in your face and full of color. I love lipgloss so much I had to make another post boasting about it. I Love the stuff and honestly I prefer lipgloss over lipstick anyday of the week.
Elf makes such great products their mineral lipgloss is fabulous and comes in some great shades. Love this stuff And for $3 dollars you can't go wrong.
Elizabeth Arden high shine gloss, another great gloss with some wonderful shades to choose from and not to heavy either. Great stuff here.
Christian Dior Dior Addict gloss another fave of mine, rich colors but not over powering.

Oh Lancome, I love their color fever gloss except for one thing. It can get tacky feeling. Other than that it is a great gloss. I had it in red!

Chanel this gloss is silky smooth not tacky and has great color. I love my chanel lipgloss! I use it daily. I can not live without it $37 a pop it is my splurge.

Of course I would post mac, duh. Their gloss is full of color and they tons of color choices. What else would you expect? Mac has some great products but their glosses can be a toss up on smooth vs tacky. I know for some people it helps it last longer, for me Iwalk out the door and my hair sticks to my lips. Ew.
Clinique long last glosswear, ahhh this gloss gives a nice tint. Not too strong, it is perfect  for the bit of color or over lipstick. Perfect little tube and it does last pretty well too.
Well, that is it for now. These are some of the glosses that I like ,which ones do you?

fashion mama, brunch.

I have.  been thinking about what I am going to get after things settle down. When I can replace some of my clothes. I'm thinking a  cute shirt dresses for some great spring time fun. And they look comfortable, I am serious in saying I will NOT succumb to frumpty dumpty style. I could right now, but I wont. I still get dressed and do my hair(somewhat). I am trying to let my hair breath and not be tortured for a bit by my straightner.  I put together a great look that I can dream about wearing.
So cute and springy
I just wanted to also point out that yes there is girl stuff in the picture, but I wanted to put something there for girls too.

So fun to wear!

I love this outfit! I love the colors and just how much fun it is. Who said you can't follow the season's hottest trends when you feel like a bowling ball carrier. No one! Well, except maybe a few people. People that try to bring down a preggers confidence down, by saying it is a waste of money. I am sorry, but I am over justifying why I bought the clothes for my pregnancy as I have. And I am certainly not alone. I try to understand why some ladies hatematernity clothes. "I will never wear those ugly maternity clothes, I will stay in my regular stuff until I have to". Meanwhile, I am looking down at myself going, um, what is wrong with this? Nothing but compliments on my end. Oh well, perhaps it is that ugly beast rearing its head of horrible clothes long since gone.
But, designers have heard the plea, the cry for help. For God's sake we want stuff that fits well and looks good! Let us not go backwards let's go forwards, who is with me?! After all you don't  want to have this again, do you??
pIc from bellyitch the blog, did no one own a bra then?

lipgloss and eyeliners.

Oh I love lipgloss, love it to death. It has been my go to  for any occasion. It is handy for a quick change up and if you are on the go. Perfect  little booster for the day or night.
I think lipgloss and eyeliner is essential for any cosmetic bag in the purse. If you are running late, just grab your eyeliner apply some and put lipgloss on. Bam! That is the perfect little pick up for day and if a night look is needed just add more liner. For some color , keep a colorful shade of liner in your purse cosmetic bag. Just a quick line on the bottom lid for some flair. Of course top with mascara and you are set. Easy right?
There are many different glosses and liners to choose from, so which to go with Is kind of up to what you are comfortable with. If time is an issue then a pencil or liquid may be neccesary. A gel or cream liner make take time to get on and if you are not comfortable with a brush, it may be a disaster waiting to happen.
Top with Lancome new Hypnose Starlet mascara, amazjng!

Mascara love!

I love mascara, I love the way some mascaras make my lashes look. Long and luxurious or full and dramatic, I love mascara. There are so many out there to get so many mascaras to choose from it's sometimes hard to pick which one and how much you can spend. But as I have learned from using drugstore mascaras and designer, sometimes you need to spend more for hat you want.

I used to do Mary Kay back in the day and used Avon cosmetics. I loved getting that tube of mascara in my stockings( thanks ma) at Christmas and in my Easter basket. The products were good but stopped being good for me as I developed eye allergies to certain mascaras. So, I switched to drug store brands for awhile they worked as well. Great lash was a staple for a long time and I just put up with my itchy eyes.

When I started working for Clinique cosmetics I discovered how awesome it was to have great mascara and no eye funk! I loved Clinique's high impact mascara! It's dramatic and full of that oomph that women love! Another great which they do not make anymore was the lash curling mascara oohhh how I loved it! But alas they no longer have it. I got spoiled working for Clinique and getting to try all that new great stuff! I also got to play with makeup from Lancome, Chanel, Este Lauder, Arden, and MAC. I love volume and length for my lashes but not everyone feels the same. I just feel my eyes pop when my lashes are full! I wish I had Elizabeth Taylor's lashes! Some great volume and full mascaras that I have tried are High Impact by Clinique, hypnose by lancome, and lash blast by covergirl. If you want length and slight volume there is high definition mascara by Clinique it's double sided brush is unique and fun! One side is the bristles the other side is a comb. What you do is use the bristle side first for depth and comb it through for length. Lancome has the oscillating mascara, this mascara is pretty savvy if you think about it. In the wand is a button you press to make the mascara wand vibrate gently. This makes the mascara get on to the lashes evenly but its brush is like lash blast. This mascara is 25 dollars but well worth it! Once you get past the tickling of you eye it leaves luxurious lashes. Use this mascara with a white primer and you have drama! For waterproof or rather water resistant mascara Clinique lash power takes the cake! This mascara was number one in Asia for a reason! It does not come off! In humid climates it stays put and is beautiful. It is 24 hr wear. To take off use hot water!

My friends always have me pick there mascaras either at a dept store or at a drug store. The best advice I can give is when picking a mascara think about what's important for your look. Length, volume, natural, waterproof, dramatic you can be sure to find the right mascara! I would also suggest talking to a beauty professional at a cosmetic counter or your Avon or Mary Kay consultant.
