The perfect date night

I so desperately want to take my hubby to a restaurant he has never been too. Get dressed up and go have a great time. In fact I know which restaurant I would take him to. Fishbones, is an amazing restaurant with a fabulous menu. It is a bit on the pricey side but, worth a splurge. Try the macadamia crusted fish, you can't go wrong.  I even know what I would wear, or what I would LIKE to wear.

Yeah, that would be it. Ahhh, but this is something that will have to wait. Wait along with the restaurant and the wine I would want to consume there. (Future thinking) Date nights will become a luxury or a scarcity,babies tend to do that. The impending thought of it makes me want to go on a no baby date before the little ninja arrives. However, my issue right now may prohibit that notion. Gift card to Cheesecake Factory or not, we will be shackled to the house waiting. Until, the day comes where we can.

 I have.  been thinking about what I am going to get after things settle down. When I can replace some of my clothes. I'm thinking a  cute shirt dresses for some great spring time fun. And they look comfortable, I am serious in saying I will NOT succumb to frumpty dumpty style. I could right now, but I wont. I still get dressed and do my hair(somewhat). I am trying to let my hair breath and not be tortured for a bit by my straightner.  I put together a great look that I can dream about wearing.

Fashion mama

I am thinking about clothes I want to wear again after the baby comes. I think about what I want to wear that is new. I think about what hair and makeup, shoes, and dresses. I also can't wait to see the baby and what I will wear home. You know the pink dress in my baby shower post? Yea that's the dress. But, I just dream of a new wardrobe, new hair, new baby, new home, and new perspective on life. I just think about the what ifs and what I want. Fashion wise and everything in between.
I know your body changes so much after baby, I can't wait to see what I can get to fit my new curves.

spring look for day!!

Oh spring is around the corner and that comes with a new look, or updated part of the house. It also means spring cleaning and a new lease on life for the year. A way to start off fresh with a new wardrobe with some of the great looks of the season.
I just love this lime peplum dress by Badgley Miscka and the little bag by Marc Jacobs, along with the embossed leather sandals by Prada. Makes a great outfit for a nice spring or even summer day. Get out of the greys and blacks and put on your flirty florals with vibrant accents.
I love it and can not wait to get back into those clothes!!

Resort wear.ohhh I wish

With the cover up on and with those Gucci heels,book the cruise! Even just with the swimsuit,bag,and sandals I would just feel fabulous. I know there is more to resort wear than just swimwear, but after being in the hospital and now on bed rest all I can think about is of course my baby,but also a nice extended stay at the Portifino Orlando. If only, ahhh, if only.

Spring Cleaning

Have you ever had one of those days where you just look at your closet and aren't impressed with anything in it. Like all of the stuff in the closet you just want to toss out. Nothing seems to "jump" out at you and nothing seems like you any more. All you want to do is start over? I feel that way sometimes, it was just one of those days.

I looked in my closet and thought, OK, really I need new clothes. There are things in there I haven't worn in years. And even Oprah has said something like, if you haven't worn it in a year THROW IT OUT. Well, I want to and replace it with better wardrobe. I need something fresh for the season and new. I want to get rid of all the stuff that's outdated,faded and worn. Out with the old and in with the new. It will be fun to clean out the old clothes and organize it. Spring cleaning fever anyone?

When I watch shows like Real Housewives of Beverly Hills or NYC I think " I want a closet and wardrobe like that!" Wouldn't it be awesome to have a closet that was spacious with lots of organization and the clothes to go with it.Mmmmmm a whole wall devoted to shoes and purses.Now, I will say that Ikea has great shoe organizers.The shoe organizers just hang in the closets and I LOVE THEM.So,even if I cant get a new closet and a fresh new wardrobe, a few updated options would be just as good. Especially if they are on sale!
If nothing else maybe a new pair of shoes or handbag which hey I just cant get enough of. That and new cases for my Iphone. And besides got to fill those shoe holders can't leave them empty.

Window shopping

Today was a great day,went for a nice walk around the mall.What better way to exercise than walking around the mall and shop at the same time. I did good though I didn't buy anything. I found things that I really liked. I saw a lot of pretty white dresses at American Eagle. I want them so much! The dresses I saw would be cute with a wide belt around the waist and chunky wedge heels or sandals. So beachy,springy and well summery too.
My main goal of walking around the mall was well ya exercise somewhat but to also find my hubby a birthday present. I went through a lot of stores thinking hmm that's an OK gift but nothing I would have called spectacular. Looked at clothes, watches, went in a Coach store thinking hey maybe a wallet. But nope he has a great wallet...
great watches...and nothing would say happy birthday more than a pair of socks or underwear. What am I his grandma?So, I was unsuccessful in the gift department.
I did find a lot of cute things found some great Coach purses and some adorable Michael Kors bags. I wanty cause me likey! The Jessica Simpson shoes are cute and I did see some new shoes from UGG.I found too some adorable white pants now to find a cute kimono top or tunic top. At least I got one thing accomplished today!
I also did some online clothes shopping today, made a nice wish list.
