Dress and shoe collector

So, Whenever I go out with friends I love to wear awesome shoes. I wear heels a lot, whenever there is an excuse to wear them. Most of my shoes are really high, but then I am short. I find they are cute shoes, platforms make me feel less height challenged. But it is not all about the shoes it is about anything I wear. When I am dressed casual I am being told I am too dressy. How is a simple cotton shirt dress too dressy? Sure I am wearing black heels with it and adorable accessories but to me it was casual. When you wear a uniform every day you tend to want to wear more cute clothes on off time. Don't get me wrong I have sweat pant and t-shirt days. I love dressing well and feeling good about it!

I have discovered a new habit, buying dresses. Just like my purse and shoe obsession I now have a dress obsession. They are so easy to wear, so easy to pair things with. You can dress them up or down (just like a good pair of jeans) For the summer its great, because you do not have to layer a million things and wonder if those shorts match this shirt. Dresses are light, comfortable and great for the heat. So, I am going to put some cute dresses, purses and shoes here! I will also post direct links to the sites.

Summer Shoes

It's summer and it is hot outside! What a great time to sit at the pool, go to the beach, get a tan (if you have the time) or just wander about. It is a great time to wear an adorable pair of sandals, wedges, or bright colored plats. I love summer because you can wear so much and feel great. Wearing shorts or dresses with adorable shoes to show off that tan is amazing. Of course you can still wear jeans; I know a lot of people wear jeans even though it is 102 degrees outside. I am sometimes one of those people who wear jeans. But, I want to talk about shoes,mostly because I love shoes and need new ones, slowly but surely I am replacing my shoe closet. There are many cute sandals out now it is incredible!There are so many styles of sandals, there is a pair out there for pretty much anybody! Even if you are a flip-flop kind of person there are really cute and chic flips out there for you! And if you look just right for them you can find some great deals on shoes online for summer! Great thing about shopping online for shoes unlike pants, all you need to know really is your shoe size. Well, purse shopping online or cell phone case shopping online is easier than that. But, nevermind about that we are talking about shoes here!

Summer goodness

Ahhh its June,what a wonderfully hot month this year. The first month of summer and its time for the beach, pool or vacation! Cruises, beach resorts and theme parks are all in full force.For summer straw bags, floral light dresses, shorts and alot of swimwear are everywhere! I recently purchased a long dress, it is a comfortable light weight fabric with beatiful floral print. Perfect for summer, or so I thought. In the store it seemed ok until later at home. After Ironing the dress, I put it on and walked around my house then sat down for a bit to watch tv. Everything about the dress was ok, until I got up and realized that the dress wrinkled again. In a matter of 30 minutes it wrinkled and I was just sitting. I'm not sure about you but how would you feel if you were out and then stood up and had a wrinkly dress? It looked like I just took it out of a dryer and did not take the time to iron it. What alot of work for a 24 dollar dress.I have quite a few long summer dresses as well as short ones. But,right now I am currently torn do I keep the dress or return it? I got to think about it some more.
Straw bags are out and there are alot of them and at great prices. So what ones to get to look chic and not like you are carrying around grandma's purse. There are some really cute ones out right now.They are excellent for the beach or just a day out at the pool and some of the purses look great for the resorts. Time for some retail therapy!

Fathers day

OK, so fathers day is coming up real soon. The question is what do you get dad for fathers day?! Do you get dad another power tool? Maybe,but some power tools can be costly, especially since he wants those Craftsman tools. Do you get dad a card(yay) and a gift card? Well, what gift card? How about another Xbox or Playstation game? That may be hard if your dad just goes out and buys them anyways, like mine does. So, what can you do about this problem?

It could be as simple as a gift card but is that the way to go? Maybe maybe not. Take your dad golfing or fishing? You could get him a watch or something like that. Or maybe you have seen him drop his phone(almost) and get him a cell phone case. He may even like getting a new Ralph Lauren polo shirt or new boat shoes.
